Annual AGM - Thursday 13th February
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at North Road on Thursday, 13th February.
All members of the club are cordially invited to attend this important event. The AGM provides an opportunity to review the past year's activities, discuss the club's financial position, and outline plans for the upcoming season. Members will also have the opportunity to elect committee members and raise any matters of concern.
Your participation is highly valued, and we encourage all members to attend and contribute to the future of Glossop Cricket Club. The meeting will commence at 7:45pm. We look forward to welcoming you on Thursday, 13th February at North Road.
Whilst we welcome all members to join us at the AGM, I'd like to remind you that as per the club constitution, junior members under 16 and social members do not receive a vote.
While we keep an up to date list of all members, sometimes people are not contactable and so if you know of any member who hasn't received this invite, please do feel free to forward it on.
After last years incredible success, the Glossop CC Super Sixes tournament is back! We are opening up registration for players to join now. Requirements to register: Glossop CC paying member or sponsor Age group 14 to 'Old' Cannot be regular 1st teamers As per last year, all abilities welcome! We are hoping to get the majority of names in by the end of February so we can plan with a little more time this year. Please get in touch with Adam Wilson directly if you'd like to play. Once we have all the players names, we can start to put some evenly matched teams together. Any questions, please get in touch.
Come join us on our final Winter Walk of 2025/26 with a 5.6 mile hike up past the plantations, Glossop Low, and then up Cock Hill. Juniors, seniors, friends, family, and dogs are all welcome to join us on Saturday 21st March at 11am . The club will be open from 10am for light refreshments. Suitable walking boots, clothing, and equipment are recommended.
