Founded in 1833, Glossop Cricket Club is one of the town’s most established and ambitious community sports clubs. While proud of our heritage, the club is firmly focused on the future, with participation, activity and engagement continuing to grow year on year.
Cricket sits at the heart of everything we do:

The club is a founding member of the Greater Manchester Cricket League, competing against teams from across Greater Manchester and the High Peak.
We currently run:
- 🧢 4 senior open-age teams
- 👩🦰 Women's and girls teams
- 🔄 Development and midweek sides
- 👦👧 A strong junior programme with teams at u9s, u11s, u13s, u15s and u18s levels.
This structure ensures a wide demographic regularly visits North Road and engages with the club throughout the season. Dozens of competitive fixtures are hosted at our ground each year, making it a highly visible and well-used community venue.

The campaign offers a range of sponsorship options, from entry-level partnerships through to premium pitch-side and digital visibility. Every option contributes directly to junior coaching, equipment, facilities, and keeping cricket accessible for young people across Glossop.

Player Sponsorship
Sponsor one of our players for the season.
Your sponsor will appear on our website next the individual. We will also put the players profile picture and your / your businesses name on social platforms each time the player provides a meaningful contribution in a match.
The sponsor will also get a free entry into our £1000 prize draw and will be invited to our annual sponsors day where they can watch a game of cricket, enjoy some free food and a free drink.
Price: Individual Player Sponsor – £125.00 per sponsor per year ( a player can have more than one sponsor)

Match Ball Sponsorship
Most of our senior fixtures have now been released so we are looking for match ball sponsors for 2026.
The cost of match balls in 2025 was almost £1700 so all help with this is appreciated.
You can sponsor or it could be a business or in memory of a loved one.
- £30 covers the cost of the ball and for that you will receive
- coverage around the game on our social media platforms (over 5000 followers across all platforms)
- noted in our annual sponsorship video played on You Tube and in the Clubhouse
- mention on matchday advertising board outside the Clubhouse
- Complimentary drink on matchday
- Mention on our You Tube live stream of the match

Friday Night Junior Coaching Sponsor
- 1 branded banner displayed at the club on coaching evenings, reinforcing your support for grassroots sport.
- 1 branded banner displayed outside the ground on North Road.
- Regular social media mentions, highlighting your sponsorship, offers and business as well as other innovative ideas you may have
- Business logos/links on website, promotional posters at club and other materials
- Publicity in local newspapers and club communications to our expanding database.
