Glossop CC has been chosen to host the Derek Kay Cup Final, the premier cup competition in the Greater Manchester Cricket League, on Sunday 9th August. It's a huge honour for the club and a big day for North Road.

Woodbank will face Westhoughton, with a 12:30pm start. Both the function room and players' bar will be open all day.

To help the day run smoothly, the club is looking for volunteers, including:

• 2 people for car park support during the first two hours
• 4 adults for the BBQ (2 people per 2-hour shift)
• Juniors to help with flags, boundary discs, and litter runs
• 1 person for bar/BBQ running and support
