1st XI

Saddleworth 115/10 (35.5) - Glossop DNB.     Game abandoned

A great performance in the field for Glossop which saw Hargreaves taking three wickets, with Sonczak and Boothroyd both taking two, restricting Saddleworth to 115.    The rain however put pay to any chance of a victory with, leaving both sides with 2 points each.

2nd XI

Glossop 33/0 (9) - Saddleworth 212/6 (45)

The rain prevented what could have been a great game of cricket.   Glossop won the toss and opted to bowl, Saddleworth scoring 212 from their 45 overs.  Three wickets for David Allen, two for Holmes, and one from Doody.

Glossop were 33 without loss after 9 overs when the rain came.   Match abandoned, 2 points each.
